Context
Life Upside View is a mental health organisation. People tend to arrive at a site like this in a hard moment, looking for a story that sounds like their own or a way to reach someone. So the site had to do two things at once: stay calm enough to read, and never put more than a tap between a visitor and help.
Approach
The client came with the design and a clear sense of the tone, and I built to it. The work was in holding the focus where it counted. "You are not alone" leads the page, a search for stories of resilience sits directly under it for anyone who arrives looking for something specific, and a get-help link stays in reach on every screen rather than buried a few clicks deep. Light and dark reading modes let people read whichever way is easier on them. Everything else gets out of the way.
Outcome
It shipped the way the client drew it up and now serves as the organisation's home for its stories, tools, and support, with the path to help kept short on purpose.
